This Toronto harbour wedding was so incredible. The waterfront in the city is truly beautiful. Just walking along the boardwalk led us to so many unique hideaways it was like we’d travelled to four or five different locations – not just walked for 15 minutes along the water’s edge. Agata and Nate’s small, intimate wedding in the city was such a joy to be a part of. I started the day by hiding Nate away along the waterfront and bringing Aggie over for their adorable first glimpse at each other all dolled up for the day. Then we had some free time to explore the waterfront together and find some beautiful hidden little gems to tuck away into and create some magical images before it was time to head over to where we’d be spending the evening – a lovely boat from Mariposa Cruises.
We arrived to the delight of Nate and Aggie’s nearest and dearest who were overjoyed to see the two together in their wedding best. We got to explore the boat for awhile before we officially set sail and the party began. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful night to be touring the waters of Toronto. The sunset seemed to change every few minutes and envelop us with a seemingly entirely new sky to admire. The music kept everyone lively, and with a playlist with many a 90s alt jam, I found myself singing along behind the camera more often than not. The large tables below deck allowed everyone to gather and relax over a delicious meal before heading back up into the night air – complete with blankets to get cozy together under as the sun finally dipped and the night sky took over. I truly had such a wonderful time with them and their guests – you could feel the love everyone shared and their joy at the union of these two lovely souls. They were the kind of people you meet and feel you’ve known for ages! I’m so happy I could be a part of this day for them.
