Jillian and Rob’s lovely, intimate cottage wedding took place at the beautiful Elmhirst Resort in Keene, Ontario. Both Jillian and Rob were able to get ready at simple and stunning cottages overlooking beautiful Rice Lake. Growing up in and around Rice Lake, I loved getting to spend the day there photographing these two wonderful souls. With their nearest and dearest around them, Jill and Rob prepared for the wonderful day to come while clouds rolled in and out over the water and the sun sparkled on it’s surface. When the two met for a quiet moment of photos and explorations of the beautiful natural landscape around us, it was so clear that they were both excited and at ease about their upcoming vows. Love truly means being able to make each other laugh and being comfortable in each other’s presence, and these two spent the whole time chatting and chuckling at private jokes while I tagged along for the wonderful ride. It was such a joy to get to spend the day in this beautiful setting surrounded by Jill and Rob’s kind and loving family and friends.
