So I know I’m a little late with this, but you know how these things go – sometimes time just gets away from you, and before you know it, the end of February is approaching!

I wanted to look back on 2015 and share some of my favourite moments with all of you.  It was a year of ups and downs for myself and my family, but I think the best way to move forward is to focus on all of the positives. I know that those we have lost would want us to move forward with open hearts, adventurous minds, and lots of laughter.  2015 had some amazing moments.  I met some wonderful new people, and got to see returning clients and watch their families grow.  I gave up meat for good and both my husband and I became vegetarians.  I’ve gotten into the best health of my life and feel fantastic for it!  I got to learn from some of the best photographers in the field who I have admired from afar (and may have fan-girled over when I finally met them!).  I graduated with honours with my BFA in Fine Art Photography and was accepted back into Ryerson to complete my MFA in Documentary Media.

Some of my favourite moments of all were made with all of you!  It was so wonderful to put this short video together, and to reminisce about all of the times we shared together! And 2016 is already full of so many exciting things.  I can’t wait to see what it brings for us, and for all of you!  If you want to be a part of my 2016 family, drop me a line! I still have some wedding availability for this year (and am starting to book into 2017).  Maybe the most exciting part of all?  Bringing my husband into the photography world as he trains to be my second shooter!  I can’t wait to see what we create together this year.  I feel so lucky to have a career where I am constantly getting to meet new amazing people.  Clients become friends.  Work doesn’t ever feel like work.  It feels like getting to hang out with inspiring, loving, wonderful people, and capture tiny moments of their lives that I know they will get to look back on forever.  Making these images for all of you – it’s not just capturing your memories – it’s capturing mine as well!  Every time I watch this it makes me emotional (and that’s saying something, because I watched it a LOT through the editing process!). Thank you to all of you for an amazing 2015!

Take a look at what 2015 looked like through my eyes in the short video below!
