Kate and Brodie’s wedding day was certainly one for the books. Their Cobourg wedding was held at The Mill – a beautiful venue with lots of stunning areas to explore. Kate and Brodie had both written letters to each other to be opened before the ceremony. It was such a joy to watch Kate read her letter with all of her girls close at hand. Tears, laughs, and so many smiles – with a grin she noted the similarities in Brodie’s letter to things that she had written in hers. As she was helped into her stunning gown by her mother, her eyes would light up every time she was able to see a new guest arrive for the ceremony from her perch on the top floor of The Mill. Her excitement was so apparent! And Brodie was no different. As he laughed and joked with his groomsmen, it was obvious that his nerves were totally at peace as he prepared to be wed. The ceremony was held outside and we had the perfect day for it! We toured around the grounds in golf carts and found some lovely spots to shoot – confetti was thrown, kisses were snuck amongst pine trees and wedding parties put on their best gangster faces. The dinner was a delicious family style meal at tables adorned with beautiful dip dyed linens and watercolour table cards – all made by the talented bride. The speeches brought out SO many laughs – the couple really had an amazing family and wedding party. And MAN can these people dance! The party was a huge hit complete with live music and sparklers and I was chuckling my way through editing the all the dance pictures – they were so much fun!
