It took a little while for this shoot to come together – the weather kept having other plans for us! But when it finally was able to come to pass, it was absolutely perfect! The weather was ideal – not too hot, the sun setting just right without a cloud in the sky. We took a nice walk through a beautiful park and trail in Cobourg and found lots of wonderful spots to stop and shoot. I had such a blast on this family session. Making dandelion wishes, meandering down wooded trails, enjoying the beauty of Cobourg! Baby Ian was just a joy – all smiles and sticking out tongues. And his parents are both incredibly lovely, kind and warm hearted! (I can’t wait for our ukelele jam sessions guys!). I always love getting to meet new people through my work. It’s one of the best parts of my job. That, and getting to capture these moments for families and loved ones that they can look back on years from now and remember the day with fondness. That’s one of the best things about family photography. It’s not just about the final images, it’s about the memories being created while we capture them.
